  2. Add Ability for Line-Item Collaboration/Sharing

Allow for main header items to be shared without the rest of the file being shared. i.e. if you share a line, anything underneath that line is also shared but anything above or outside of it is not. I believe this was a Workflowy feature. Sharing a different file is not ideal because one of the best features of Moo.do is seeing everything you need to do in one file. Line-item collaboration is the answer!

  3. Ability to cross link items, to provide wiki like ability.

I use zim-Wiki to store pages of Information, that are cross linked to each other.

My wiki is stored on Google drive.(each page is a plain text note)

My moo.do mirrors the category's structure from my wiki.

When any item in moo.do needs in-depth information, I link it to the appropriate text file from my wiki (on Google drive)

    Life is beautiful.

Now all that's needed is wiki like linking in moo.do and my knowledge structure mapping system is complete :)

Thank you for this beautiful piece of software.

  4. Make it REALLY CLEAR wether data is saved to web or locally.

I came home, ate and went to my home computer. The days work was not in my moo.do anymore. A days work. But most older stuff is there. So I must know what is saved where. And why. Thanks, Maarten

  5. Contact Pane and multiple Google contact sync

It would be great to consolidate contacts from different gmail accounts in Moo.do and have a contact pane which allows to modify those contacts in Moo.do and sync changes back to google.

  6. Agenda view for days in the past

I love how I can see a history of what I did/check off in the Agenda view (when enabling "show completed items" filter), but there doesn't seem to be a way to see this information for days prior to today. Would be like an automated diary, which would be awesome!

  7. Option for drag-and-drop to create cloned item in destination spot, rather than move it there

Would love to have the ability to do this, on some occasions: use drag-and-drop (especially between panes) to clone an item to its destination spot, rather than move it there.

This feature would have so many useful applications for certain kinds of kanban tasks, especially. (Hence the focus on moving between panes … but I could see how it would be useful in the general outline as well).

A keyboard shortcut — say, hold down key while dragging and dropping — is one respectable solution.

Given the connection with certain kinds of kanban/sorting tasks, though: I EXTRA EXTRA like the…

  10. Notifications for daily reminders

I realize that tasks with due times will notify 30 minutes earlier (it would be nice if that was configurable) on mobile, but it would also be nice if tasks with due dates (@tomorrow, etc) would remind you earlier in the morning (preferably configurable, but 9am would be acceptable too).

  12. Auto Completion Date

Checking a task off could automatically tag it with that days date as when it was checked. Allowing you to look back and see when you completed a task on a specific project.

  13. I would really like HTML posting for notes. Ideally with the ability to post images / photos / links.

Notes are essential and they would really benefit from pictures, BOLD, links etc.
I'm not a fan of markdown, so I'd prefer HTML / wiziwig editor for the notes.
The abiliy to have a full wiziwig HTML editor would simply be stunning, you've already got Google Drive / Gmail support, so managing a simple HTML layout for notes would complement Moo.do and make the premium package very attractive

  14. support different 'from' email addresses

To support different email accounts for replies based upon the originating mail account. For example multiple email addresses are forwarded to one main mail account. 'From' email address is defined by the respective 'To' email address from the source email which was being forwarded.

  15. Link back to original message in Gmail

When viewing a message in the message pane, provide a link back to the original message on gmail.com.

This would be useful when processing email tasks which require more advanced features than the basic reply/forward functionality.

  16. Support @waiting since and @blocked

Since I use Moo.do for my GTD list, I miss such funcionalities. For example, I would love to do something like:

+Moodo Team: Support for new stuff @waiting since Nov 10/2016

    --

    Use new tags #pc @blocked
(A note justifying why it's blocked)

  17. Schedule into multiple slots

My task list is usually done in and around meetings etc, 30mins here, 1hr there. So being able to schedule task-A in that 30mins and again in that 1hr makes sense.

Feature request to allow this, scheduling a task in multiple time slots.

This could either be building up date/times, or moving some date/times into the task notes of additional date/times.

GetPlan.co does it like that, where you can drag an item into multiple slots in your diary. It's very useful and intuitive and maintains the history of what you were working on when. But everything else is severly limited…

  18. Break the dependency on Google Drive APIs

Please break the dependency on Google Drive (and GD APIs).

Unfortunately, I cannot use moo.do full-time due to the dependency on Google Drive APIs which are blocked when l am on the corporate network or VPN, working on my corporate macOS device.

Leveraging Google Drive seems like a brilliant idea on a number of levels. However, moo.do is excluding a large number of customers who may be prevented from accessing Google Drive (and GD APIs) most of the time they have their hands on a keyboard.

For the above reason, I am currently evaluating migrating to Dynalist.io. However, I love

  19. Add ‘copy’ to the multiselect module to aid copying an outline on the mobile.

Till now it is difficult to copy Moo.do outline on the mobile. It the Multi-select function is optimised for this, copying will be very easy on mobile devices.

  20. Brainstorm view!

An outline can easily be programmed to have a SPATIAL layout like a corkboard with post it notes inside categories- like a giant canvas. My lists are so long, I want to use SPACE to sort things. I hate mindmaps, but I love "brainstorm view". This is TOTALLY different than mindmaps. It's SPATIAL & beautiful. To see what I'm talking about search youtube for "Imindmap 10 brainstorm view". This software works exactly like moo.do with outlines, but then it automatically switches over to "Brainstorm view"!!!!! Unfortunately while their concept is good, their implementation is poor. So currently no solution exists.…
