Day-of-week intervals for >1 month i.e., "@every 2 months on 1st Saturday"
Remember the Milk does this, and it's not uncommon for me to need tasks like this.

Filter in agenda view for overdue items
I think it would be great to be able to search / filter for overdue items with the @overdue tag.
When I use the agenda view, I like to overview what I need to accomplish todayish.
So maybe a way to filter for items due today PLUS overdue would also be nifty. (So tasks overdue from yesterday don't have to be rescheduled to @today first...)

Task state
Tasks can have more states than just 'to do' and 'done'. While this is a perfectly fine default, some users want more states. I'm one of those. I've been using this in org-mode for years. See the manual here: http://orgmode.org/manual/TODO-extensions.html#TODO-extensions
In addition to the traditional 'todo' and 'done' states, I also use 'waiting', 'cancelled', and 'inprogress' to denote that I can't or won't work on something, or that I am actually working on something (and should finish it before taking on a new task).

Add option to hide all notes, email and files in outline
When adding lots of notes, emails, and/or files to tasks, the outline view can become very cluttered. It would be helpful to be able to hide all of these other elements in the outline with just a single click without having to use priorities or stars to accomplish this.

Support URL references to specific states within the app
In most productivity apps (Asana, Workflowy, Dynalist, etc) everything has a URL: tasks, pages, projects, tags, etc. Using the URL of a specific project, for example, I can share the page, link to it, bookmark it, or store a shortcut alongside other documents in my file system. In Moo.do, view state information isn't stored in the URL - regardless of "where" I am in the app, the location is always
https://www.moo.do/app/
. That rules out a ton of use cases and is a deal-breaker for me.7 votes -

Dependency between tasks
I have tried out many organization apps out there (like monday.com) that philosophically claim that hierarchies are a bad idea. They are absolutely wrong, and that's what I love about you guys. Hierarchies are not only great but indispensable when it comes to organizing complex projects.
The one thing you guys are lacking is the ability to link different tasks (possibly from different branches) together as a dependency. TAsk G depends on TAsk C. The dependencies can be:
1) C has to finish before G can start
2) C has to start before G can start
3) C has to…7 votes -
Hotkeys to jump to parent and to jump to next/previous sibling
Since the latest major release the hotkeys for navigating have become way more powerful :)
There's still a frequent motion that I find myself reaching for the mouse though.
That's moving focus from currently selected line to it's parent, skipping any other visible siblings on the way. While doing this, I don't want to change what I see on the screen by collapsing or zooming items, so can't use those shortcuts.
For example:
Parent
Child1
Child2
Child3
Sibling
Child4If my focus is on Child3, I don't think there's a way to immediately jump up to the Parent, without going…

Keep track of when I created, marked as done, and archived items
I'd like to be able to review metadata on a line to see when I created it, archived it, or marked it as done.
This would be useful for seeing if a task is 'stale', and for reviewing how much I completed on certain days.
A larger scope for this feature would include being able to filter on this metadata, and being able to scroll backwards in time in the agenda to see when things were done.

implement semi-structured data
I regularly have the use-case for collecting semi-structured data. By this I mean having type annotations for headings that require certain properties to be present.
As this might be rather confusing consider the following example use-cases:
I'm researching which kettle to buy and collect my findings under a heading "research kettles" with one subheading for each purchase candidate. For each of those I want to collect certain properties like wattage or volume as well as unstructured additional comments. Here My idea would be to have the "research kettles" heading prescribe that each subheading "is a kettle" and specify which fields…

Prioritize often used contacts to appear on top
I have many contacts. Many of them begin with similar letters. It would be cool if you could put those contacts that I use more often to the top of the list, because Miller Alexander I use all the time, but Miller Alex, I never use in relation to tasks.

Time Table, Attach files, Reminders, Drop down Calendar
For instance, If I am going to read some Book.pdf, what if I could assign a duration for the task. I will start the task reading Book.pdf from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with "repeated every" feature and with a reminder at the beginning and the Ending time. Then, If I forgot reading the book there must be an automatic reminder "You did not read the Book.pdf yesterday" or as a user configure the message and the date. You could also add a drop down Calendar as I won't know literally if June 1st will be Saturday or not cause…

Don't cancel focus of panes when the document is switched
When a user switches from one document to another the focus from his panes disappear. It really does not help in productivity and the whole overview.
