  2. Add checklist buttons

A checklist button on the left of a task to (un)mark it as (un)done. It would be nice to also have a counter on the parent task, like 4/10 subtasks checked.

  3. Add ability to directly drag onto collapsed sections.

Currently I have to expand items in order to eg drag & drop directly from gmail pane.

  4. Pictures support

Simple pictures implementation like it's done in Slack would be great. I know that Moo.do is text-based, so this can be a simple plugin to keep moo.do text-based by default

For example, it would be easy to leave a note about some map location or something

  6. Implement auto-refresh for filtered (search) view

I typically filter out completed items.

However the filtered view is not refreshed when I modify (i.e. complete) an item.

Would it be possible for the filtered view to be refreshed either automatically or through a keyboard shortcut?

  7. quick switcher, zoom to another part of the document

I wish there was a feature like Slack's 'quick switcher' that would allow me to jump/zoom to another part of my document.

Like Moo.do's ctrl + m move feature, but for changing focus.

  8. PERSISTENT WORKSPACES - refresh to original view / per-workspace display settings

Workspaces are a great idea, but need tweaking in practice Here's what and why:
    - There needs to be an option to 'freeze' a workspace as you set it up - panels, zooms, hoists, searches. Because workspaces spawn as you left them you have to fiddle around with them each time you switch.
    - An option for unique display settings - font size, etc - would really help. Because if you have just 1 panel open the font needs to be larger than when you are rocking six windows at once. BONUS - when you use MOO.DO on different machines…

  9. Zoom on touch/click

Slide actions are great especially for Complete, but, I dont think it should be used for zoom/collapse, it just slows things down. I need a quick tappity tappity browsing method where I can jump in and out of projects, sub topics etc, sliding, right clicking, or breadcrumbs bringing up a sidebar on the app, when it in every other breadcrumb system seems to use it as a link.

On Workflowy I can jump between branches like a squirrel, Moo makes me feel like a cow trying to leap branches, but still there's something I love about it that makes want…

  10. Make note visible inside zoomed item

    Just like in workflowy.
Now if an item has note, that note becomes invisible inside zoomed item, which is pretty uncomfortable.

  11. Add tags to multiple selected tasks

I'd like to have the feature to add tags to multiple selected tasks together, rather than currently I need to copy the tag over to every line again and again.

  12. New Board? Option for New Outline pane

It would be nice to have the option for using existing outlines or having a new one.

For example, I am a school teacher and I wish to keep my tasks for my different classes separate. When I add a new board and select to view an Outline pane, I am greeted with the Outline pane I have already populated. I would prefer to have a fresh one for each board so that I am not distracted by all of the other things on my list.

  13. Tag Overview

Similar to Project Overview for Outline, it would be useful to show an overview of all used tags in current pane. This would serve as a way to quickly filter items by multiple tags/criteria without having to manually summarise used tags in a top-level item.
(Alternative idea: Allow items to be marked "sticky" so they are not affected by search/filter. So items listing used tags would not be filtered out when filtered to one tag.)

  14. Expand a set number of level

Right now we have expand/collapse (top level) and expand/collapse recursively (every level, which gets messy), it would be great if we can expand everything at say, 2 levels down, or 3, by a shortcut like maybe shift+control+2, shift+control+3.

    Use case:
I keep a project named "books", under that is different categories of books, "self help", "entertainment", etc. Under that is actual names of the books. Under the names is notes for the specific books. It will be great if I can expand everything up to level 3, where I just get a list of book names I'm reading, or level…

  15. Explicitly assign items and tasks to contacts

Associating items with +contacts or creating custom #tags (as described at https://www.moo.do/blog/project-management/#tagging) are both very limited.

The problem with +contact is that there's no way to differentiate between those that are assigned to the item and those that are mentioned because they are relevant in some way, such as someone I need to call.

The problem with #tags is that it's very limited. It only supports a very narrow range of use cases where the people who can access the Moo.do file actively assign items to themselves or check to see what's been assigned to them. For example:
    1.…

  16. Improve Date and Time Planning Functionality with Nesting and Formatting

In order to effectively plan the day, I'd love to plan as follows:

    @2018-11-27
    - @05:30-06:00 Wake Up habit
    - @06:00-08:00 Family Time
    - @08:00-12:00 Work on Y
    ...

and have the according Calendar/Agenda Entries created with the correct timeframes on the 27 of November 2018, simply because I have them as children underneath a dated parent, unless I also define a specific date on the child node.

At the moment I'd have to define a date on each node, which sucks for daily and weekly planning. Also, defining the time-frame as described above doesn't work (I'd have to use…

  19. "highlight in all pane"

Hello, I'm using your company's program well.
One suggestion is that when I do "highlight in all pane" for an item in the calendar or list pane, I would like you to add a function that collapses and highlights in the outline pane.
Or, I would appreciate it if you could add a function that finds and displays the location of the items shown in the calendar or list page.

  20. Show parents in agenda view

The usecase is explained here http://feedback.moo.do/forums/274238-general/suggestions/7129893-create-option-to-maintain-list-hierarchy-in-agenda.

But maybe full hierarchy management is not trivial to implement. How about displaying a "breadcrumb" of parents above each item in agenda view? This would solve huge part of the problem
