It would be powerful If I could insert links to different entries within the outline from different entries within the outline.

Alexa skill to handle To-Do and Shopping List Items
I'm coming from Todoist, but Moo.do would replace Todoist, Newton (email client), and my calendar app, which would be awesome. I frequently add items by voice with Alexa, which Todoist integrates with to handle all to-do and shopping list items (adding them to the appropriate lists).
It would be amazing to have integration with Alexa-enabled products.

Encrypt hierarchies of notes for multiple recipients
I'd like to be able to hand out access to a primary, single moo.do outline but with selective access focused on one or more "hierarchies" in the larger outline.
I'd like to use this for delegation and sharing. If I tag or flag an outline element as "viewable" by a known recipient, then I'd like to be able to share this access so that others can see and modify anything under that. But where changes are reflected in my primary outline.
In order to support this (at least how I think of it), there could be a lightweight encryption layer…

Add setting to specify default event duration
The current default duration is one hour. I'd like to be able to change the default duration to something else by changing a value in Settings.

Hide future events
In the task pane I want to be able to filter out all tasks that have a future date. Better yet would be to have a start date and to be able to filter start date e.g. on or before today. I would like this filter to be saved so it applies itself on reload

Follow threading settings of gmail.
Turning off thread view in Gmail doesn't change it in moo.do. Having email separate allows to separate reference documents, comments and stuff from particular emails. Now I can only refer to one thread or... manually copy-paste what I need :-(

Task state
Tasks can have more states than just 'to do' and 'done'. While this is a perfectly fine default, some users want more states. I'm one of those. I've been using this in org-mode for years. See the manual here: http://orgmode.org/manual/TODO-extensions.html#TODO-extensions
In addition to the traditional 'todo' and 'done' states, I also use 'waiting', 'cancelled', and 'inprogress' to denote that I can't or won't work on something, or that I am actually working on something (and should finish it before taking on a new task).

Fewer Electron processes in the background

Seems like a lot of processes are spun up without any real load on them and they linger.

Workflow charts
If I could turn an outline into a workflow chart it would allow me to reference a process in a more efficient manner, at a glance. Mindomo has this feature and I never understood how to leverage it. Well its application has finally dawned on me and it would be really useful, for example, a troubleshooting process that can end up taking different paths depending on the underlying issue.
Troubleshooting IT is a good example. The parent categories being hardware and software and detailed subcategories would create efficient workflow branches. For now the bulleted outline works well but a flexible…

Parse unsubscribe links and provide toolbar button in preview
There are existing email clients which are able to automatically parse links to unsubscribe from automated/list emails and provide easy one-click access to unsubscribe from future emails (see Newton as an example of a client which does this), and this is quite convenient.

Collapse all items - Improvement
The collapse all items button, really isn't very useful.
It only collapses top level items.
As soon as I open one of those, the sub-items haven't been collapsed.
As it is called "Collapse all items", please make it so, that it actually collapses all items.10 votes -

support additional time options
I have tasks that need to be done more occasionally, like @quarterly or @every x months. It would also be potentially useful to arbitrarily list dates, too, like @every may 15, june 25, september 10.

Email Pane with more compact email dispaly
Option to have more compact emails in my inbox to see more emails in one instance - currently too much white space. I could see a double the number of emails!
thanks!

Linux desktop application
First of all, I am pretty much sold on this application!
I see that you recently released desktop apps for Windows and Mac. Hoping that these were built using cross-platform technology like Electron, could you also build a release for Linux?

Filter in agenda view for overdue items
I think it would be great to be able to search / filter for overdue items with the @overdue tag.
When I use the agenda view, I like to overview what I need to accomplish todayish.
So maybe a way to filter for items due today PLUS overdue would also be nifty. (So tasks overdue from yesterday don't have to be rescheduled to @today first...)
