have a "master" outline
Either a new type of outline pane, or the default behavior for the current outline pane - where clicking on rows in the outline would shift the focus of all other panes (tasks, calendar and email panes would show only their respective items related to the selected row in the outline)
Keep up the excelent work (please!)

Make it REALLY CLEAR wether data is saved to web or locally.
I came home, ate and went to my home computer. The days work was not in my moo.do anymore. A days work. But most older stuff is there. So I must know what is saved where. And why. Thanks, Maarten

I can't drag and drop items between panes using the Surface Pen on my Surface Pro 4 - this feature would change everything for me.

add a comment feature where text entered show a timestamp
I have tasks that take time to accomplish and I add notes or comments on my progress and see the history of my work with given timelines. Therefore I would suggest that we can have a feature called "comments" that you can add notes with timestamp. Unlike the current "notes" features were it's just a blank text editor this "comment" feature can make you add text that has a timestamp.

Tag Overview
Similar to Project Overview for Outline, it would be useful to show an overview of all used tags in current pane. This would serve as a way to quickly filter items by multiple tags/criteria without having to manually summarise used tags in a top-level item.
(Alternative idea: Allow items to be marked "sticky" so they are not affected by search/filter. So items listing used tags would not be filtered out when filtered to one tag.)6 votes -
Don't forget time on completed recurring tasks
When completing a task with a recurring date, for example: @every day 8:30am 10mins
This becomes when completed: @3/10/18 10minsThis causes the event on the calendar to appear as an all-day task when it actually wasn't. More desirable would be to remember the time in the completed tasks.

Deleting on mobile
The (+) button should change to a trash icon when dragging a row or tree around on mobile. Deleting on mobile is very unintuitive.
It would also help to have a trash button on the toolbar when editing a row.
Deleting in this manner should show a confirmation if there are nested tasks "Are you sure you want to delete 24 nested items?"

Don't allow a blank first row
On mobile sometimes I create a new task at the top of the document and change my mind. There is no easy way to delete the first row so I would like it that if I cancel entering anything (leave it blank) it automatically deleted the blank first row.

Make it easier to add new items inline from keyboard: "Enter" should add new line under current line, no matter where cursor is positioned
I suggest that no matter where your cursor is in a given line, hitting "enter" should simply take you to a fresh new line below.
It should do this RATHER than the current behavior of splitting the line in two wherever the cursor was.
This is how it's done in Checkvist, and it's an incredibly simple and powerful feature in a task outliner. I think this simple thing accounts for like 70% of Checkvist's superior keyboardability (which is its only real advantage of Moo.do!) ;)
I almost never want to split a line in the current manner. And should I…

Quick(er) add for mobile: Swipe line in outline to quick-add new item under it
Adding a new item under an existing project or list in their outline, is probably the single task anyone wants to do most quickly on a mobile device!
With this in mind, I wish one of the convenient swipe gestures on mobile was reserved for quickly adding a new item under any given line in the outline.
I'm aware that this would replace or extend current swiping options on mobile. However, I think the ability to quickly add a new task under a specific list/project in the outline, via a precise gesture, might be more important than even the current…

show tasks with only select priority or more powerful filter combo
right now the default filter (for medium and low) also shows the tasks with higher priority, maybe something like ctrl+click to show only those tasks.
However, I would prefer those priority buttons and all the filter buttons behave the same with default to "click to show only", ctrl-click to hide and we get to chose any combo. like
click orange, red and star button -> star tasks with medium and high priority, ctrl-click star -> hide the star tasks from above.
Same as the hide complete task now is kind of "inverse logic" to the rest of filter button. I…

Support URL references to specific states within the app
In most productivity apps (Asana, Workflowy, Dynalist, etc) everything has a URL: tasks, pages, projects, tags, etc. Using the URL of a specific project, for example, I can share the page, link to it, bookmark it, or store a shortcut alongside other documents in my file system. In Moo.do, view state information isn't stored in the URL - regardless of "where" I am in the app, the location is always
https://www.moo.do/app/
. That rules out a ton of use cases and is a deal-breaker for me.7 votes -
remove board list slider, it blocks 50% of the side panel.
Bug:When you have >3 boards, and the side bar is collapsed, the list of board gets a slider that blocks 50% of the sidebar so you can only see small part of the board name. Unpractical and ugly. Hope you can fix this. Thanks, Maarten

Ability to cross link items, to provide wiki like ability.
I use zim-Wiki to store pages of Information, that are cross linked to each other.
My wiki is stored on Google drive.(each page is a plain text note)
My moo.do mirrors the category's structure from my wiki.
When any item in moo.do needs in-depth information, I link it to the appropriate text file from my wiki (on Google drive)
Life is beautiful.
Now all that's needed is wiki like linking in moo.do and my knowledge structure mapping system is complete :)
Thank you for this beautiful piece of software.
