  1. Support Gmail Aliases

It would be very convenient if the Gmail plugin would support sending new emails from different aliases as well, instead of only using the primary ( Gmail ) one.

  2. Support the TaskPaper Format

    The format is very simple:

    1. Project end with a colon.

    2. Tasks start with a dash

    3. Everything else is a note.

The requested optional feature should format projects in bold and notes in light grey automatically.

    Keep up the good work!

  3. Templates Management

Currently, one can move an item only: right click or CTRL+M.

Working with several templates it would be nice to have an additional context menu option to deep copy too.

  5. Save Searches

I'd love to be able to save searches so that I don't have to always manually search for everything.

The feature already exists a little bit in the Agenda Pane to filter the tasks for "Today", "Week" or "All".

It would be very nice to save my own searches/filters with a small titel under the search bar.

  6. change case of the text

Change the text to lowercase and UPPERCASE is what i really want and often need. Sentence case, Title Case & tOggLe cAsE would be great additions though!

I use moo.do mainly for my personal notes. I often copy-paste from various interesting articles and then edit. i like to emphasize some words by changing its case, especially since markdown is not yet available.

But by all means, prioritize markdown. I badly need the options to format the text (bold, underline, italics, strikethrough). Nonetheless, after doing so, kindly still add the change case feature :)

  7. Give a custom name to each Panel (to identify them at glance)

To be able to identify them quickly! A name in the header of the panel, and a different (customizable?) background color behind the name given.
For example, having a panel with a search @next I would name that panel "Next Actions" with a Red color.
A panel with @soon may be named "Backlog" if i want..
Or a panel with @today i would name it "Hoy!" (because spanish is my native language, so this customizable name would let me translate also.. Somehow "Hoy" has more strenght in catching my attention fast than "today" :)

  9. Alerts

An alert if an item is past due
An option to add desktop notifications or email notifications like google calendar does.
The ability to set a time of day for an alert for a specific item. So if I have 10 items to do on a particular day, I can place a time next to each item and I'll get an alert when that time is near. The idea is I can work on a particular item and be completely focused until an alert goes off and I have to switch gears to work an a new topic.

  11. Export OPML allowing writing workflow with text processors (e.g. Scrivener)

Although Moo.do can import OPML (Outline Processor Markup Language), it is still lacking OPML export.

By importing/exporting OPML Moo.do could become a hub for exchange of data across applications, since this is the ubiquitous format adopted by outline programs.

I've adopted a handy and productive workflow by starting my text drafts in Workflowy, finishing them in Scrivener, a text processors that handles OPML. I would migrate my writing workflow to Moo.do if it could export OPML.

  12. Parsing links of known services (e.g. Youtube, Evernote) to display their icons together the links

Please, see an example of how parsed links could be displayed in Moo.do:
    http://i.imgur.com/QgC0GNX.png

I realized the integration with Evernote is in Modd.do plans, but it could even be a workaround to better interaction with Evernote before full integration is accomplished.

Since Moo.do won't integrate everything, for other known services (e.g. Youtube, Dropbox) the icons being displayed together the links would improve the overall visualization and interaction with links.

  13. Add checklist buttons

A checklist button on the left of a task to (un)mark it as (un)done. It would be nice to also have a counter on the parent task, like 4/10 subtasks checked.

  14. Button to add custom columns to the right of tasks list

    For a list of:

    • Project 1 --- Component 1 ------ Task 1 ------ Task 2 ...

Would be very cool to have numeric column, e.g. "estimate". So that groups would automatically sum/count/avg values from subitems and so we could do a cute export to excel.

  15. Right Click on the Date to Bring Up a 'Date Adjustment' Context Menu.

Right click on the Date to Bring Up a 'Date Adjustment' Context Menu.

Right clicking brings up a context menu with a visual Calendar 'date picker' but also with an option to 'Preempt until:' 'Tomorrow', 'Next Week', 'Next Month', etc.

  16. 'Quick Add' Android Widget

Add a "Quick Add" Android home screen widget. (Similar to Evernote or Onenote but simpler). User can click on it to add a new Item to a List of the users choice. User chooses the List when adding it to their screens (Inbox, current Project, etc). Keep the widget minimal so that the user's whole document does not need to be loaded in order for him to input each new item. User should be able to type in the new item and either hit 'Close' to close the widget or "Open App' to launch the Moo.do App. Keeping this simple…

  17. Drag Items Between Date Sections in Agenda Pane to change Date

Selecting and Dragging an Item from "Yesterday" to "Today" on the Agenda Pane reschedules an item from "Yesterday" to "Today".

(For new users perhaps add an "Are You Sure?" message prompt, on the first use, before it saves the change, just to warn folks who didn't expect it. But include a "Don't show again" checkbox so the repeated warning doesn't annoy users once they get used to it.)

  18. Add 'Multi-Select' of Items for Moving or Sorting

Multi-Select Items (for Moving, Sorting, Adding Dates or Stars, etc). This is the feature I feel the lack of most, by a wide margin. Not having it makes interacting with large amounts of text a very unpleasant experience. I hate to bring up the competition, but maybe look at how Workflowy has implemented this for their system. Theirs quite is simple and intuitive. It does what you think it will quickly and simply.

  19. Don't show all items of @every

If I want to reminded of something @every monday, all of a sudden my agenda page which I actively work in is completely full and cluttered. I only want to see the one that's coming up, I don't care about the reminder to do it in 2 weeks until this week is over.

  20. Have the option to use relative dates.

Provide the option to use relative date labels like "in 2 weeks" rather than Monday 02/24
    in 5 days
Also, bundling the option to bundle said dates into just, "next month" or "later this month" instead of having to see the exact date for everything.
