    I would also like to be able to apply priority, star, and completed settings across all panes (eg, by holding a modifier key down while clicking a filter button in one pane).

    One partial workaround is to search for "-@" ... it will filter out all items with a date. But it would be more useful to be able to filter relative to a particular date, as you suggest.
