Also I would like to add:
1. Separate button for collapsing (now I have to uncollapse, before I can collapse)
2. Make toggle in settings to enable collapsing by default for all new boards or when collapsing state is unknown.
Why it is important?
I keep my personal project details, my thoughts and ideas not far from work-related stuff. So sometimes when I am showing something to someone, I jump between boards or zoom out, and all my personal data is visible to strangers until I explicitly collapse it.
