Add reminders to agenda items.
Have the ability to set reminders to agenda items. For example if I have a metting scheduled for next Thursday set reminder for 1,2, or 3 days (or even hours/mins) before the event.
+3 votes for more robust notification handling and options.
I'm seeing three ideas discussed here:
-Ability to set notifications on a per event basis
-Multiple reminders available per event
-More notification time options (e.g., by hour, day, week, or specific date)
As just one example of usage on the first point, tasks can be assigned arbitrary times during the planning of a day simply as a means of organizing the day, but that doesn't mean notifications are needed for each one. This can become an interruption to one's concentration, particularly if there are many small tasks. But if the notifications are turned off, then an important event could be missed.

Customizable multiple reminders would be awesome!!! :D
May be something like "schedule @Thursday reminds on Wednesday 6pm"
