Right clicking brings up a context menu with a visual Calendar 'date picker' but also with an option to 'Preempt until:' 'Tomorrow', 'Next Week', 'Next Month', etc.

I think this would pair well with another suggestion here, to bring up a "date picker" when entering "@..." tags. When user clicks on the red "@..." in the Outline, it would re-open that picker for editing, and now, the pop-up would have an additional "reschedule" section.
I don't think it needs to be a right-click, since normal-clicking the @... doesn't do anything now except place the cursor there for editing.

The more I use Moo.do the more I feel the urge to plead for a 'Preempt' feature!
I instinctively want an interface way to move items to different due dates quickly and easily, particularly ini the Agenda pane. AND making that a bulk (multi-select) movement would make all the difference as well.
