  1. change case of the text

Change the text to lowercase and UPPERCASE is what i really want and often need. Sentence case, Title Case & tOggLe cAsE would be great additions though!

I use moo.do mainly for my personal notes. I often copy-paste from various interesting articles and then edit. i like to emphasize some words by changing its case, especially since markdown is not yet available.

But by all means, prioritize markdown. I badly need the options to format the text (bold, underline, italics, strikethrough). Nonetheless, after doing so, kindly still add the change case feature :)

  2. Templates Management

Currently, one can move an item only: right click or CTRL+M.

Working with several templates it would be nice to have an additional context menu option to deep copy too.

  3. Google keep pane

I use Google Keep to, well keep some huge list, some of more than 300 lines, things that are not everyday life, but i would find it convenient to easily access it from Moo.do, that i use as a GTD organizer.

  4. Customize the bullet to an icon

At the point of having more than 7-10 top-level lists, it starts to become difficult to navigate and differentiate them quickly. I have hacked this by using unicode character icons at the start of my lists, and the result has been very positive. I am able to navigate (and remember the purpose of) my lists much more efficiently. I suggest implementing a very simple version of this which would build the icon into the bullet and have a menu for selecting an appropriate one. 5. Optionally increase the width of scrollbars

... specially on small laptops (like mine) it can be hard to grab the scrollbar without the use of a scroll wheel and external mouse.

  7. Close emails by double clicking (i.e. use double click as a toggle for opening/closing email view)

On the webapp, double clicking opens an email. Would be great if double clicking an open email would close it instead of having to navigate to the cross button on the top right

  8. add ellipsis on notes (shift+enter)

It will be great to know that the note has more info. Currently if I have several lines in the note when I am done editing the collapsed task just shows the first line. more or ... will help to remember that there is more info to it.

  9. export list to a csv/spreadsheet file ?

I often need to export selected lists into spreadsheet or csv file.
then I manually to columnize all records (lists ) via moo.do tags, like #, @, or via " - " ,, those I use in the list.

but the work is too boring to do it every day.

can you , moo.do provide a way to export lists into a csv/spreadsheet file, by convertying tags or some special marking user use in each list , like hyphen, dash, to 'column' or 'field' in spreadsheet ?

    many thanks.

    regards/sean

  11. Ctrl-backspace shouldn't delete left bracket, unless the deletion starts after the right bracket

The word-deletion command deletes the left bracket along with the word coming after it. That's irksome with strings of code, although I don't know why this should be the case in general. As a example, Google Keep treats left brackets as spaces for this purpose.

  14. Add criteria to a pane to customise view

It would be nice and smart if a pane contents can be predefined by adding some criteria. Simplest way to achieve this is by using your #tag feature. If a pane can be set to only show certain #tags... It's like Remember the Milk and their smart lists... This sort of manipulation on contents, gives any user the freedom to organise panes, views, boards as they seem fit. The next step, is that a certain Pane can receive an alternative Title.. I can now create a Pane with a workboard with the title Progress and have all progress #tags connected…

  17. Launch Bar / Quick Switch

Pressing a keyboard shortcut opens a search window. Typing will Auto-filter existing target destitinations, Favorites (see other Suggestion), workplaces etc...

Favorite entries are prefered from the filter engine.

Hitting enter, jumps directly to that Topic.

Holding Shift while pressing enter, opens the Topic in a second pane.

  18. Rendering Issues at High Resolutions (in my case 4k)

I use a 4k resolution display due to the number of applications I'm in at the same time daily. When using moo.do at the increased resolutions you'll notice that the application tends to lag a bit (when hovering over tasks, there is a noticeable delay before the highlight effect takes place).

I'm imagining that the system is having issues properly rendering at the resolution that i'm using.

  19. Make it possible to change the color of either (or both) of the title of a pane or the background of the pane.

It would be easier to see whether I'm in the outline or the calendar or one of my custom panes. I'm always finding myself typing in the calendar when I mean to be typing in the outline, or vice versa.
